Second Volume Of The Swedish Metal/Hard Rock Encyclopedia To Surface In June

The second volume of Swedish metal veteran Janne Stark's acclaimed book, The Encyclopedia Of Swedish Hard Rock And Heavy Metal Volume 2, will be published in June and will contain all the bands that have surfaced after the first volume was issued in 1996, all the older acts that were missed the first time around and updates on all "old" bands that have released new records since the first book. This book will feature around 1,000 bands, ranging in style from AOR to death metal, and will include a bonus CD with previously-unreleased material from acts such as THERION, DAN SWANÖ, LION'S SHARE, NEON ROSE, AB/CD, THE*END, FREAK KITCHEN, MOTHERLODE, DAMAGE DONE (featuring ex-EUROPE bassist John Levén, TALISMAN/HUMANIMAL guitarist Pontus Norgren),TALISMAN (featuring ex-CANDLEMASS singer Thomas Vikström),SPEEDY GONZALES (featuring Tommy Denander, Vikström, Dalton),LOCOMOTIVE BREATH, DOGFACE and two more major artists confirmed but not yet received masters from.
